People Who Need People

PEOPLE

People,
People who need people,
Are the luckiest people in the world
We’re children, needing other children
And yet letting a grown-up pride
Hide all the need inside
Acting more like children than children

Lovers, very special people
They’re the luckiest people in the world
With one person (one person)
One very special person (one very special person)

A feeling deep in your soul (in your soul)
Says you were half now you’re whole
No more hunger and thirst
First be a person who needs people
People who need people
Are the luckiest people in the world

No more hunger or thirst
First be a person who needs people (people need people)
People who need people
Are the luckiest (luckiest) people in the world

People who need people in the world
People who need people (send them your love)
Who need people
People who need people in the world (people who need people)
Send them your love (oh those people)
People who need people in the world (people who need people)
(Send them your love)
(People who need people in the world) people who need people
(Send them your love) people
People who need people in the world
(Send them your love)

I never experience living as refugee entire of my life. Even when the biggest earth quake hit my city in 2009, i wasn’t at home, i was 88 km away from my hometown. When i’m back, i saw many heartbroken moment caused by the disaster. But i’m not one of the refugee, i’m back as a volunteer to distributed foods to people. Earth-quake is a nature disaster, and people suffering from threatening of another post-quake. Its nothing to do with human.

But have you ever imagine, what does it feel to live as refugee because of another human who lives in the same planet with you? They burn your house, kill your family, and then push you to the sea. There’s no land accept you anymore. No food, no water, there are just tears. How could you believe in humanity anymore?

I never imagine this kind of tragedy happens in this century. This is a crimes, worst, and shameful.

PS: People is Barbra Streisand’s belong to the album, People, released in 1964.
